Very nice Professor, caring and helpful. He will help you after class if needed and even tries to get students to go to career events to help them with their futures.

never in my two years of college i left a review for a teacher, but for professor Cabrera i had to because it was such a chill class. you will actually have fun and learn in his class. TAKE HIM AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET

Guys hear me out, he’s the best professor I’ve ever taken. He’s young, He’s chilled and no textbook is required. Just a heads up that you do need to participate. We peace it out with a “YERRRR” Definitely the best professor I take during summer.

Awesome professor, 100/100 high key recommend. But one thing to note, the class can be fun or it can be boring, it’s all about the energy you bring to the class, if you’re engaging and participating you’ll have fun and wanna show up to every single class. My class was a BLAASST! wish he was my professor for every class I take.

He is literally one of the best professors out there, he is very understanding and cares about what he teaches us.

At the end of the day, no matter how great of a professor he is, there is work to be done. But with that being said, you can complete the work at your own pace, and submit it late and won’t be penalized. This shows true care and understanding for students situations. GPA will be protected, and grade is still earned. Great professor, real gem.

Professor Cabrera is one of the most caring and down to earth teachers bmcc has. Hes extremely straight forward and will make sure his class is always on point. His classes are always interesting and current. He is a young professor so hes actually understanding as long as you communicate with him. I would take him 100 times again

Prof Cabrera is hands down one of the best that BMCC has to offer. He relates to the students making everyone comfortable in class. I took his class for a summer course and even though the lectures were on Zoom, he found a way to make every single class fun. The topics are current and actually interesting, making everything easy to learn.

Professor Cabrera is a good professor who is able to relate to students and give interesting lectures. Despite being relatively new, his classes were well prepared and the class had a clear and concise structure. I never felt unprepared and I always knew where I stood and what I had to do in his class. The class was interesting and easy to learn.

Professor Cabrera is very passionate about criminal justice. He loves his students and gives good advices. He cares more than just grades but will provides you all the requirements tools in criminal justice mainly in policing. He wants everybody to success more he is funny. I will definitely miss his class
