Through POBPOF, Abstract Lifestyle seeks to create understanding and dialogue specifically around issues regarding criminal and social justice. Whether it be conversations on the school-to-prison pipeline or police accountability, the conversations are facilitated by those who have an introspective look into the criminal justice system.
Ultimately, the “correctional” system has done less correcting and more corrupting as over 60% of released individuals are likely to go back to jail or prison at some point in their lives after release. Over 80% of incarcerated individuals will return to the community and will share trains, buses, schools and workplaces with us. It is important that they be in the best state of mind, as well as criminal just personnel who spend just as much time part of the justice system.
